Psac Collective Agreement Signed

5.01 In the event that a law passed by Parliament applicable to workers annuls any provision of this agreement, the other provisions remain in force for the duration of the contract. 1.01 The aim of this agreement is to maintain harmonious and mutually beneficial relations between the employer, the Union and the workers, by establishing certain conditions of employment which have been agreed by collective bargaining. In order to improve security, payments under paragraphs 62.04 to 62.07 or similar provisions in other collective agreements are considered a termination benefit for the management of this clause. 39.06 A worker whose activity has been modified, who has been reassigned or who is on leave must inform the employer in writing for at least two (2) weeks of any change in the duration of the risk or disability provided by the medical certificate, unless there is a valid reason why this notification cannot be granted. This notification is accompanied by a new medical certificate. The new collective agreement will enter into force on November 13, 2020 and will apply from November 1, 2016 to October 31, 2021 included. From the date of signature, the rating agency has 180 days to implement the provisions of the collective agreement, including retroactive compensation. Details of the collective agreement are available on the PSAC-UTE website. For the ASD initiatives, a joint CEF-ASD committee will be created, which will be represented on an equal footing by the rating agency and PSAC components. By mutual agreement, the committee can involve other participants. The CEF-ASD Joint Committee will set the rules of conduct for the committee. This appendix to the collective agreement applies to all members represented by the Public Utilities Alliance of Canada (PSAC) and for whom the rating agency is the employer.

Unless specifically stated, the provisions of Parties I to VI do not apply to other delivery initiatives. This collective agreement is signed during the COVID 19 pandemic. In light of the exceptional circumstances and social constraints imposed by the health authorities, the parties agreed to sign this collective agreement electronically.
