A black fuzzball that responds to the name of "Rand" rudely awoke me at 6:30 this morning after my not having gotten into bed until somewhere between 3:30 or 4:00 a.m. I tried to return to my former slumber after tossing some food into her bowl, but I just couldn't get any more rest.
In a couple of hours I am meeting a friend for coffee. I don't think I will make it to the appointed destination without having had some caffeine beforehand.
I almost can't wait for classes to begin just so I can get at least six hours of regular sleep a night.
